John Lewis Partnership in Ampthill is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to deliver partner-led service and a passion for food. Night premium is paid £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00–06:00; DBS and flexible working may apply. This is a temporary, part-time role with varied hours across seven days.

The position supports stock replenishment, online order fulfillment, and shop team collaboration, aiming to ensure excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns near sell-by dates.
• Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including checkout support and Click & Collect.
