Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant at Waitrose in Leighton Buzzard. You will help deliver the Partner-led service, stock shelves, fulfil online orders, and keep the shop clean and safe. The role includes weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday with a night premium for late shifts.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills for teamwork and customer service.
Experience in customer-facing roles is welcomed.
Interest in food and drink trends; flexible to support the whole branch.

Responsibilities

Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place for customers.
Fulfilling online orders for drivers to deliver to customers' doors.
Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and sell-by dates.
Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including checkout support and Click & Collect.
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
