Job summary

John Lewis Partnership’s Waitrose & Partners in Peterborough seeks a Supermarket Assistant to deliver excellent partner-led service and help keep the store running smoothly. Night shift adds £3.75/hour premium; 18+ requirement applies.

You will stock shelves, fulfill online orders, reduce waste, and support the broader team while maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Flexible hours across seven days, including nights.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication to work with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - keeping shelves full and correctly placed.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for driver delivery.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
