Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Maidstone (Allington Park) is recruiting a Supermarket Assistant to provide partner-led service across varied part-time shifts, including late-evening to early-morning hours. You’ll help stock shelves, fulfil online orders, and support the team while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Applicants must be 18+, with a flexible approach to hours and a willingness to adapt to changing shift patterns. Night premium applies (£3.75/hour between 22:00–06:00).

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products in the right place.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers.
• Reducing wastage by product due diligence and markdowns on sell-by dates.
• Working with the shop team to support checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
