Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to install and deploy our retail AI OS across customer sites in the UK. The role involves overnight work, 20 hours per week, with a 6-month fixed-term contract.

You will be responsible for installations, maintenance, and ensuring KPIs are met while maintaining safety and quality standards. Applicants must have a valid UK driving licence and reliable transport to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Field service experience in installation/maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently.
• Proficient with power tools and installation equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Able to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication with supervisors, teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware, mount, connect and configure according to standards.
• Respond promptly to installation requests and meet SLAs.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, parts, and time spent.
• Onboard/scan products into the system.
• Safely operate power tools and complete installations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines during visits.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain high attention to detail and KPIs.
• Provide progress updates to supervisors.
