Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Team Lead to oversee installations for customers across the UK. You will lead a small team on site, allocate tasks, and ensure installations run to plan, with overnight work and travel to sites.

This 6-month fixed-term contract requires at least 30 hours per week, a valid UK driving licence, and reliable transport. You will install camera hardware, maintain safety standards, and meet KPIs for quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or installation leadership.
• Ability to coordinate a small team under time pressure.
• Strong technical aptitude for hardware and software issues.
• Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians on site.
• Install camera hardware, mount, connect and configure per standards; oversee the team.
• Conduct pre-installation checks to identify potential issues.
• Act as primary customer contact on site; escalate issues to meet SLAs.
• Review and sign off on completed installations to ensure quality.
