Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking experienced Night Shift Engineers for a leading food manufacturing site in Milton Keynes. The role offers £62,000 rising to £68,000 with a structured training plan and additional benefits.

You will handle electrical and mechanical maintenance, PPMs, and repairs across high-speed production and packaging lines, conveyors, and processing equipment. The ideal candidate is multi-skilled, preferably electrically biased, with food manufacturing experience and an NVQ

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineer with electrical bias preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing is required.
• NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPMs, and repairs.
• Maintain high-speed production & packaging equipment, conveyors, chillers and site services.
• Deal with motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors and compressors.
• Project work including new machine installs and continuous improvements.
• PLC electrical fault finding and CMMS record-keeping.
