Hunter Selection is recruiting for Night Shift Engineers at a leading food manufacturing site in Milton Keynes. You will work on permanent nights (5:30pm–5:30am) Monday-Thursday, with a structured training pathway.

The role seeks a multi-skilled engineer, electrically biased, with food-manufacturing experience. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition beneficial, PLC/electrical fault finding essential. Excellent salary and benefits on offer.

Formación

• Multi-skilled engineer with electrical bias
• Experience in food manufacturing
• NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) Engineering Qualification
• Beneficial to have 18th Edition
• Electrical fault finding & mechanical fitting experience
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, drives, pumps, compressors
• BOAS certification beneficial
• PLC - electrical fault finding
• Automation & controls experience
• Strong, proactive & effective communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPMs, and repairs
• Working on high-speed production & packaging machinery, conveyors, food processing equipment, refrigeration, chillers, site services, ventilation
• Dealing with motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, compressors
• Project work - new machine installs, upgrades & continuous improvement work
• PLC - electrical fault finding
• Identify spare parts, raise stock & non-stock requests
• Record all work on CMMS (Pirana) System

Our client is a leading food manufacturing company, the site is part of a larger national organisation. Due to growth and further expansion within the factory, they are looking for a number of experienced Night Shift Engineers to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPM's, and repairs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Looking for a multi-skilled engineer - ideally electrically biased
• Must have worked in food manufacturing
• NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) Engineering Qualification
• Beneficial to have 18th Edition
• Electrical fault finding & mechanical fitting experience
• Dealt with pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, drives, pumps, compressors
• Ideally have worked on boilers & steam systems - beneficial to be BOAS certified
• PLC - electrical fault finding
• Automation & controls experience
• Strong, proactive & effective communication skills
