Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer for a night shift at a leading local manufacturer. You will provide electrical and mechanical support for production equipment and site services, and contribute to project installations and machine upgrades.

The role requires hands-on fault finding and strong problem-solving skills, with experience in FMCG packaging. 17th/18th Edition Electrical knowledge is desirable and the position offers a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Must be an electrically biased engineer with electrical & mechanical qualifications.
• Experience in FMCG or packaging manufacturing.
• 17th/18th Edition Electrical knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for production equipment & site services.
• Support with project work - new machines & production line installs.
• Carry out PPMs, electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving and machine upgrades.

Do you want to work for a leading manufacturer that has been established the local area for a number of years. Due to site investment and development, they are looking for an experienced night shift engineer to join their close knit team.

Role & responsibilities of a maintenance engineer:

• Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production equipment & site services
• Supporting with project work - new machine & production line installs
• PPM's, electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades

Knowledge, skills & experience need to be a maintenance engineer:

• Must be an electrically biased engineer
• Apprenticeship trained or a time-served engineering with electrical & mechanical qualifications
• Previously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing
