Job summary

Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer for the permanent night shift in Preston. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime, and work with motors, drives, sensors, control panels and automated equipment.

The role requires PLC fault-finding skills and a strong electrical maintenance background, with qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds

Qualifications

• Electrical/multi-skilled maintenance background.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control systems.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Recognised electrical/engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent.
• 18th Edition would be advantageous.

Shift: Permanent Nights - Monday to Thursday 7.45pm - 6.15am

Position: Permanent

Salary: £47,174

Key Responsibilities
