Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd at the Broomfleet site near Gilberdyke seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to keep the plant running through troubleshooting and planned maintenance. You will work with electrical and electro‑mechanical equipment and PLCs in a hands‑on role within a busy manufacturing environment.

The role requires a minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing daily priorities while supporting Lean practices.

Qualifications

• You will be an electrically biased engineer with experience in a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of health and safety best practice.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment.
• Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system (PPM).
• Fault finding and repairs on electrical systems and motors.
• Program Siemens and other PLCs.
• Use testing equipment to locate and remedy faults.
