Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at the Broomfleet site near Gilberdyke to keep plant equipment running through planned and reactive maintenance. The role involves fault finding, PLC programming, and a hands‑on approach in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

You will work nights on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, with a focus on safety, lean practices and reliable production. A Level 3 electrical qualification and PLC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical trades qualification and factory experience required.
• Safety-focused with strong health and safety knowledge.
• Hands-on in a manufacturing setting with PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system.
• Fault finding and repairs on plant equipment.
• Program Siemens and other PLCs.
• Use testing equipment to locate and fix faults.
• Promote Lean thinking in maintenance activities.
• Attend breakdowns to restore production quickly.
• Contribute to safe systems of work and BSEN ISO 9001 compliance.
