Job summary

Wienerberger UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at our Broomfleet site near Gilberdyke, supporting roof tile production across the UK.

You'll be hands-on with electrical and electro‑mechanical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, fault-finding, and PLC programming (Siemens and others). A Level 3 electrical qualification and a safety-first mindset are required; 7.00am–7.00pm, 4 days on, 4 off, PPE provided.

Qualifications

• You will be an electrically biased engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Safety-focused with strong health and safety practices.
• Experience with electrical motors and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical and electro‑mechanical plant equipment.
• Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system.
• Fault finding and repairs.
• Program Siemens and other PLCs.
• Use various testing equipment to locate and remedy faults.
• Contribute to safe systems of work documentation and continuous improvement.
