Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our Ewhurst/Warnham site. You will be hands‑on in our in-house team, keeping equipment running, performing planned and preventive maintenance, and debugging electrical and electro‑mechanical systems.

You will troubleshoot, program PLCs, and contribute to safe, efficient production. The role requires a minimum Level 3 electrical qualification and a proactive, flexible approach in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical biased engineer with manufacturing/factory experience.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices.
• Able to adapt to daily priorities in a busy plant.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical and electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system.
• Fault finding and repairs on equipment and systems.
• Program Siemens and other PLCs.
• Use testing equipment to locate faults and rectify them.
• Support Lean initiatives and safe work practices.
• Attend breakdowns and maintain production reliability.
• Comply with BSEN ISO 9001 quality standards.
