Job summary

Wienerberger Ltd is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for the Sandtoft site near Doncaster. You will maintain and optimise electrical and electro-mechanical plant, program PLCs, and contribute to Lean initiatives to boost OEE.

You will work across a manufacturing site with strong focus on health and safety, training provided, and a pattern that includes day and shift hours. The role is based in Doncaster, UK.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained with Level 3 Engineering qualification.
• ONC/BTEC/HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical engineering.
• 17th/18th edition wiring regs and safe practices.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or FMCG environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out essential maintenance through a programme of PPM.
• Attend breakdowns and restore machinery to production.
• Install and maintain electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment.
• Program Siemens PLCs and other PLC systems.
• Promote Lean thinking and improve factory efficiency.
• Maintain machine safety standards and critical spares.
