Job summary

John Lewis Partnership’s Waitrose & Partners in Chipping Sodbury is recruiting a Customer Delivery Driver for part-time, temporary hours. You will load your van, deliver orders to customers and maintain high standards of service on the road and in-store support tasks.

Night premium applies between 22:00 and 06:00 (£3.75 per hour). A full UK driving licence (B-category) with up to 6 points is required, plus strong customer focus and the ability to work independently and safely.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills and rapport building.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Able to handle physical tasks and manual handling.
• Ability to work independently with self-motivation.
• IT literacy and basic tech handling.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes and load van for deliveries.
• Deliver orders to customers and assist shoppers as needed.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and road compliance.
• Represent Waitrose/John Lewis with high customer service standards.
• Support shop team with daily tasks when required.
