Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver at St Neots. You’ll support the shop team with daily tasks and deliver orders directly to customers’ doors, representing the Waitrose brand through excellent service.

The role requires a full UK B-category driving licence (max 6 points), strong customer service, and the ability to lift crates and work independently. Part-time hours are 20 per week with varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK B-category driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Capable of lifting crates and moving cages.
• IT literate and able to use basic systems.

Responsibilities

• Check daily delivery routes.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and stay road compliant.
• Represent Waitrose brand with high customer service on the road.
• Assist customers and build rapport during deliveries.
• Support shop team with general duties when needed.
