Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring Waitrose quality and Partner-led service to customers' doors. Load, route-check, and deliver orders, while supporting the shop team when not on the road, in a friendly environment.

We require a full UK B-category licence with up to six points, strong customer service and time-management skills, plus the physical ability to handle crates. Varied part-time hours across seven days.

Qualifications

Full valid B-category UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong time management and reliability.
Physical ability to lift/move crates and luggage.
Comfortable working independently and self-motivated.
IT literacy.

Responsibilities

Checking your delivery routes for the day.
Loading and preparing your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be efficiently delivered directly to customers.
Ensuring all vehicle safety checks are complete on your van, maintaining full road compliance, health and safety.
Being an ambassador for the Waitrose brand while on the road with great customer service as your number one priority.
Helping customers with their shopping and building rapport with them based on trust and service.
Supporting the wider shop team when required with general shopkeeping tasks.
