Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose quality and partner-led service to customers' doors. Part-time hours across two days, with tasks including stock replenishment and shop support when not out on deliveries.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid B-category licence, demonstrate excellent customer service, and be comfortable with physical tasks. Flexible working options may be discussed during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good time management.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting crates, moving cages).
• Self-motivated and adaptable.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Checking your delivery routes for the day.
• Loading and preparing your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be efficiently delivered directly to customers.
• Ensuring all vehicle safety checks are completed on your van, maintaining road compliance, health and safety.
• Being an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with great customer service as a priority.
• Helping customers with their shopping and building rapport based on trust and service.
• Supporting the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
