Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring Waitrose produce and partner-led service to customers’ doors. There are two part-time vacancies, with shifts including Friday/Saturday and Sunday coverage. 18+ required.

You’ll also assist in-store tasks and stock replenishment as needed. Successful candidates will load, deliver, and maintain van readiness, while representing the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service and safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting crates, moving cages).
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together.
• Ensure vehicle safety checks and road compliance.
• Be an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with customer service as priority.
• Help customers with shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
• Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
