Job summary

KONE is seeking an Area Service Manager Nights to lead London Underground night engineering operations. This hybrid role combines office leadership with regular night-site attendance to ensure safe, timely maintenance and strong customer service.

You'll oversee Lift Engineers, coordinate workloads, support performance and wellbeing, and promote a culture of safety and reliability across the Pan TFL team in London.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising engineering/technical teams.
• Confident in managing people and day-to-day operational challenges.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
• Proactive, can-do approach.
• Comfortable working with different stakeholders.
• Understands safety, quality and customer service importance.
• Lift industry experience is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Lift Engineers on night operations in London Underground.
• Coordinate day-to-day engineering activities and workload.
• Support engineer performance, development and wellbeing.
• Help ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
• Monitor operational performance and respond to issues.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams.
• Support planning, resources and priorities across the operation.
• Promote a strong safety culture.
• Lead by example and maintain a positive team environment.
