Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our Coventry team. You will provide high standards of personal care during night shifts and maintain a safe, compassionate environment for residents and staff.

You will monitor wellbeing, participate in care planning, assist with medications, and support staff development while upholding our values of respect and accountability.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, caring attitude with flexibility to cover shifts.
• Ability to work well within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needs change.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication administration and adherence.
• Conduct staff supervisions and assist with staff development.
• Serve as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and health professionals.
