Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. You will deliver high standards of personal care and support to residents, working with the Care team in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.

The role requires an NVQ 3 in care for care homes and at least two years of experience in a similar setting. You should communicate effectively, be responsive, flexible and a positive mentor to colleagues.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident and updating care plans.
• Involved in person-centred care planning, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development when required.
• Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health/social care professionals.
