Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant for Nights at Knowle Gate Care Home in Knowle. You’ll work with the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and colleagues.

We value compassion and dedication, offering a supportive culture with opportunities to learn and grow within Avery's expanding network of care homes. DBS check will be arranged and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar care home environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude, supportive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Supervise and support junior staff in their development.
• Be the main point of contact for residents, relatives and health professionals.
