Job summary

Avery Healthcare in Bristol is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant - Nights to join Avonmere Care Home. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, respectful environment, supporting residents, relatives, and staff.

The role requires an NVQ 3 or equivalent, at least 2 years in a similar setting, strong communication skills, and flexibility to cover shifts. DBS check and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Participate in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with their medication requirements.
• Supervise staff and support their development.
• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives and professionals.
