Job summary

Greatwood House Care Home in Denton, near Manchester, is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant to guide a team in delivering safe, person‑centred care for our residents. The role covers leadership on night shifts, overseeing medication administration and ensuring continuity of care, with a focus on high standards and compassionate support.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £14.35 - £14.95 per hour
• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
