Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide a team in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care for our residents. You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing, and ensure clear communication with families and healthcare professionals.

The role offers nights, paid DBS, pension, uniform provided, and generous annual leave in a 60-bed home in Denton, just outside Manchester. Career development opportunities and rewards are in place.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum).
• Medication administration training with competency essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
