Job summary

Magenta Security Services is seeking a Control Room Operator & Scheduler for a night-shift role in Hounslow. The successful candidate will coordinate mobile response teams, manage key holding, and ensure timely reporting while maintaining high standards of client service.

Ideal applicants will have strong communication, experience in control room environments, and a valid SIA licence. This is a permanent, on-site position with a 24/7 rota and formal training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room, security dispatch, or similar high-responsibility environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in real time.
• Confident using security monitoring platforms, reporting tools, and scheduling software.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make rapid, sound decisions.
• SIA Licence (CCTV or Security Guarding/Door Supervisor) preferred.
• Computer literacy including MS Office and digital communication systems.
• Flexibility to work across night shifts on a rolling 24/7 rota.
• Knowledge of Keyholding & Alarm Response compliance.
• Experience with lone worker monitoring or GPS dispatch systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms, CCTV systems, and service requests in real time.
• Dispatch mobile response officers to incidents, patrols, and sites.
• Manage key holding procedures with logging and secure handling.
• Act as first point of contact for client queries and escalations.
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports per procedures and client expectations.
• Coordinate and optimise patrol schedules and adapt to priorities.
