Job summary

HHS Group seeks a Night Security Concierge to join our team at homeless hostels in Blackburn. You will provide security and customer service to residents, greet visitors, answer inquiries, monitor premises, and manage safety procedures.

Role requires independent work, strong communication, and a willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS checks. Prior security or customer service experience is desirable; shift involves night hours and local Blackburn site duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a security or customer service role is desirable.
• An enhanced DBS or willingness to be Enhanced DBS checked.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming residents.
• Answering phones and responding to inquiries.
• Monitoring the security of the premises.
• Managing and de-escalating Anti-Social Behaviour and calling the emergency services when required.
• Ensuring that all fire and safety procedures are followed.
• Assisting with the maintenance of the premises.
• Building Welfare Checks.
• Light Cleaning Duties.
