Job summary

Homeless Hostel Jobs by HHS Group is seeking a Night Security Concierge to join our team in Richmond, supporting Homeless Hostel Clients. The role requires experience in security or concierge work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will monitor CCTV, respond to alarms, de-escalate incidents, and maintain daily logs, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for residents. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Support, Health and Social Care (Ideal not essential).
• Enhanced DBS or SIA Badge and Standard DBS.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driving Licence and Own Vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and professional presence to the residents of the Homeless Hostel.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to alarms
• Prevent breaches of security by unauthorised visitors
• Incident management and incident logging
• De-escalation of situations and conflict resolution
• Complete Daily Occurrence Log.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to the residents.
