Job summary

Social Interest Group (SIG) in London seeks a Night Recovery Worker to support Residents and Participants with one-to-one, recovery-focused care within a 24-hour Brent service. You’ll help develop plans, deliver life skills, and build safe community links.

Strong communication, empathy, and experience with diverse backgrounds are essential to empower residents and maintain independent housing outcomes.

Qualifications

• IT literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with people with complex backgrounds in mental health, housing or justice settings.
• Knowledge of housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Residents and Participants and help develop support plans.
• Contribute to risk assessments, reviews and project participation.
• Provide life skills guidance and practical support for independence.
• Build strong internal and external relationships.
• Offer advice and support, including crisis prevention where needed.
• Attend appointments with residents when required.
• Update records using Salesforce Inform and handle admin tasks.
• Support service users to understand their rights and access resources.
