Social Interest Group (SIG) is seeking a Support Coach for the Criminal Justice Services in Havering. The role focuses on rehabilitating residents recently released from prison within a residential setting, crafting tailored support plans, and supporting reintegration into the community.

You'll work to improve life skills, risk management, and public protection alongside a dedicated team on a rolling day-shift rota.

Formación

• Ability to manage own caseload and determine priorities with time management.
• Experience with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse or related sectors.
• IT proficiency and ability to learn new software programs (basic Microsoft).
• Understanding of key legislation in social care, housing, criminal justice & mental health.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times.
• Engage residents and monitor license conditions; plan activities to promote community engagement.
• Provide handovers for night shifts to ensure seamless service.
• Build trust and professional relationships; tailor one-to-one or group sessions.
• Empower residents to achieve personal goals and improve life skills.
