Job summary

Travelodge in Manchester Central Arena is looking for a Night Reception Team Member on a part‑time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, walk the corridors, and help prepare the hotel for the next day.

No prior experience is required as we provide coaching and training to get you started. In addition to a friendly, supportive team environment, benefits include staff discounts, a travel voucher on anniversaries, and progression opportunities through the Aspire Programme.

Qualifications

• No experience required for this role; training will be provided.
• Welcoming guests and checking them in.
• Assisting with hotel setup for the next day, including housekeeping prep and breakfast service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in at the night reception.
• Monitor hotel corridors and handle simple issues like noise or evictions.
• Prepare housekeeping trolleys and assist with breakfast setup as required.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar during shifts.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
