Job summary

Travelodge Hotels (UK) in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Night Reception Team Member to join our part-time team and help welcome guests. You will check guests in, provide friendly service, and support the hotel’s night operations to ensure a smooth night shift experience.

No experience is required, as we provide coaching and training. The role offers flexible hours, a caring team environment, and clear progression opportunities through our Aspire Programme and team incentive schemes.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Customer service attitude and reliability are valued.
• Willingness to be flexible with shifts and duties.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in at night.
• Walk the corridors and monitor hotel areas.
• Handle noise complaints and evictions if necessary.
• Set up the hotel for the next day, including breakfast prep.
• Assist behind the bar at times and support housekeeping tasks.
• Support with incentives and rewards events as part of the team.

Additional Responsibilities and Activities

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as 'FAB Fridays' and 'Housekeeping Heroes'. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times.
