Job summary

Travelodge Aylesbury Central is seeking a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and be part of a friendly, supportive team with flexible hours.

No experience is required; we provide coaching. Your duties include monitoring the hotel, preparing for the next day, breakfast prep, and occasionally serving behind the bar, with opportunities to grow through the Aspire Programme.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Willing to learn hotel operations and guest handling.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in at the reception.
• Walk the corridors to monitor guest areas and address noise issues or evictions.
• Set up the hotel for the next day, including preparing housekeeping trolleys.
• Prep for breakfast service.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
