Job summary

Travelodge is seeking a Night Reception Team Member to join our UK hotels on a part-time basis. You’ll welcome guests, check them in, and help maintain a calm, friendly overnight operation.

No experience is required as full training is provided. You’ll work night shifts, handle occasional issues, set up for the next day, and occasionally serve behind the bar. This role offers flexible hours and a clear path through our Aspire Programme.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to a hospitality environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in, ensuring a smooth arrival experience.
• Walk hotel corridors during the night, monitor quiet hours and address minor issues.
• Set up housekeeping trolleys and prepare breakfast service for the next day.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar and assist during busy periods.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as 'FAB Fridays' and 'Housekeeping Heroes'. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times.
