Job summary

Travelodge Cambridge Orchard Park is looking for a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time basis. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help ensure a smooth overnight experience within a friendly, supportive team.

You may walk the corridors, handle noise issues, and prepare the hotel for the next day by arranging housekeeping trolleys, setting up breakfast service, and occasionally serving behind the bar.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
• Friendly, can-do attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in during night shifts.
• Walk hotel corridors to monitor safety and guest comfort; handle noise issues and evictions as needed.
• Set up the hotel for the following day: prepare housekeeping trolleys, prep breakfast service, and occasionally serve behind the bar.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as 'FAB Fridays' and 'Housekeeping Heroes'. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times.
