Job summary

Travelodge East Grinstead is hiring a Night Reception Team Member on a Part Time contract. No experience required as we coach you to success. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help maintain a smooth hotel operation during the night shift.

The role includes setting up for the next day, preparing breakfast service, and occasionally serving at the bar. We offer a fun, supportive team environment with flexible working to suit everyone, plus opportunities to develop into management roles

Qualifications

• Customer service experience ideal but not required.
• Good communication and a friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at check-in and assist with arrival procedures.
• Monitor corridors and respond to noise complaints or disturbances.
• Prepare hotel setup for the next day, including housekeeping trolleys and breakfast prep.
• Assist behind the bar as needed and support team with daily tasks.

Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
