Job summary

Travelodge Chelmsford is hiring a Night Reception Team Member on a Part Time contract. You will welcome guests and check them in, with a fun, supportive team culture.

You'll walk the corridors, handle noise issues when they arise, and set up the hotel for the next day—tidying trolleys, prepping breakfast, and sometimes serving behind the bar. No experience is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused approach expected.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in as Night Reception.
• Walk corridors to monitor noise and address issues, including evictions if necessary.
• Set up hotel for the next day: tidy housekeeping trolleys, prep breakfast.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar and assist on shift as needed.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
