Job summary

Travelodge Torquay is hiring a Night Reception Team Member on a full-time contract. No experience is required as we coach you through everything you need to know.

You’ll be part of a fun, supportive, family‑feel team with flexible working to suit everyone. Your duties include welcoming guests, checking them in, patrolling corridors to handle noise complaints or evictions, and getting the hotel ready for the next day.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and checking them in at the hotel.
• Walk the corridors at intervals and respond to noise complaints or evictions.
• Set up the hotel for the next day, including preparing housekeeping trolleys.
• Prepare for breakfast service and occasionally serve behind the bar.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as 'FAB Fridays' and 'Housekeeping Heroes'. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times.
