Job summary

Travelodge Brighton is seeking a Night Reception Team Member on a part-time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help run the hotel smoothly through the night. The role also involves walking the corridors, handling noise issues, and preparing the breakfast setup for the next day. There are opportunities to progress through our Aspire Programme.

No previous experience is necessary as we provide coaching and training. A friendly, flexible team environment awaits you at Travelodge.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Genuine enthusiasm for guest service and hospitality.
• Ability to work as part of a busy team and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in at the reception.
• Walk corridors, monitor noise, and address issues as needed.
• Prepare housekeeping trolleys and set up for breakfast.
• Serve behind the bar during service when required.

Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you'll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you'll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times
