Job summary

Travelodge Plymouth Derriford is seeking a Night Reception Team Member on a Part Time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and walk the corridors to address issues such as noise complaints. No experience required, full training provided.

You’ll also set up the hotel for the next day, prepping housekeeping trolleys, preparing for breakfast service, and occasionally serving behind the bar. This role offers a friendly, supportive team and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in during night shifts.
• Walk corridors to monitor hotel security and address noise issues.
• Set up the hotel for the next day, including housekeeping trolley prep.
• Prepare breakfast service and occasionally serve behind the bar.

Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
