Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Night Porter for the Knaresborough Inn to ensure guests have a seamless overnight experience. You’ll greet guests, handle inquiries, and help maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere across reception, bar, and dining spaces.

Ideal candidates are friendly, with excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while staying highly organised. Join us for a role that plays a key part in a hospitable night-time operation.

As a Night Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout the night. If you’re friendly, approachable, and have excellent customer service skills, this could be the perfect fit for you! We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while staying organised.

Your responsibilities will include greeting and checking guests in and out, assisting with inquiries at reception, the bar, or over the phone, and serving guests professionally. You’ll also help keep the restaurant, lounge, and facilities clean and tidy, prepare the restaurant for breakfast service, and set up the buffet table. In addition, you’ll patrol the premises to perform security checks and ensure a safe environment for everyone.
