Job summary

The Inn Collection Group’s flagship pub-with-rooms, The Black Swan in Helmsley, seeks a Night Porter to help provide a warm, safe and seamless experience for overnight guests.

You’ll greet guests, check them in and out, assist at reception or bar, keep the restaurant and lounge pristine, set up breakfast and buffet, and patrol the premises for security. A friendly, independent organiser with strong communication will fit right in.

• Strong communication and ability to work independently while staying organised.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in and out at night.
• Assist with inquiries at reception, the bar, or over the phone.
• Serve guests professionally and maintain a welcoming impression.
• Keep the restaurant, lounge and facilities clean and tidy.
• Prepare the restaurant for breakfast service and set up the buffet.
• Patrol the premises to perform security checks and ensure safety.

As a Night Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout the night. If you’re friendly, approachable, and have excellent customer service skills, this could be the perfect fit for you! We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while staying organised.
