Job summary

The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to support the Night Manager in ensuring all night audit procedures are completed accurately and efficiently, while maintaining the safety, security and smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Deputising for the Night Manager and oversee Front of House Operations during the night shift.
• Managing Front Office staffing across Reception, Concierge, Security, Room Service, Engineering, Switchboard and F&B outlets.
• Supporting Night Auditors and Reception to maintain high service standards and operational excellence.
• Monitoring room inventory, allocations and occupancy to maximise room revenue and minimise overbooking risks.
• Assisting with night audit procedures, ensuring rates, market segments, nationalities and financial transactions are recorded.
• Managing VIP arrivals, guest requests, complaints and service recovery to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintaining operational supplies and completing nightly procedures efficiently.
• Ensuring a comprehensive handover is completed at the end of each shift.
