Job summary

The Post in Stirling is seeking a Night Supervisor to support the Night Manager in leading and managing the University's overnight operations across the campus and residential estate. The role focuses on safety, security and a welcoming environment for staff, students and the public.

You will supervise Security Officers, coordinate across Accommodation Operations Assistants, Cleaning Services and campus services, and act as senior operational lead during night hours.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising security staff and coordinating overnight operations.
• Ability to lead incident response and maintain service continuity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overnight operation in the absence of the Night Manager.
• Coordinate activities across Security, AOAs, Cleaning Services and other support teams.
• Maintain a visible operational presence through inspections, patrols and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee incidents, welfare interventions and emergency responses with clear handovers and reports.
• Support planning for student arrivals, graduations, and major university events.
