Unite Group is hiring a Night Operations Supervisor to lead the night shift at our student accommodation sites in the UK. You will oversee the night team, ensure the property is safe, secure and well maintained, and act as the escalation point for incidents and resident needs.

The role requires experience in customer service/hospitality/property/operational environments, plus experience supervising teams and managing incidents. Health and safety knowledge and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service/hospitality/property/operational environments.
• Experience supporting or supervising teams.
• Capable of managing incidents and operational issues under pressure.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Organised, proactive and able to make quick decisions during shifts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in property/residential or hospitality environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead night operations and ensure the property remains safe, secure and well maintained.
• Supervise the night team, provide clear direction and maintain high service standards.
• Act as the main escalation point for incidents and resident needs and coordinate responses.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents and ensure proper recording of actions.
• Carry out safety checks and audits and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain communication with the day team and ensure smooth handovers.
• Support residents with queries or concerns.
