Job summary

Shaw healthcare is seeking a Night Nurse for Warmere Court in Yapton, West Sussex. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care on night shifts (12–hour or 24–hour) with a rota pattern, supporting residents with dementia and other needs.

NMC registration and elderly-care experience are required. The position offers competitive hourly pay (£23.18–£24.32) and a chance to work within a well-established, employee-owned healthcare group that supports development and recognises staff

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse
• Experience in elderly care including dementia
• Knowledge of CQC regulations (basic)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients’ health and care needs and developing care plans
• Administering medication and monitoring responses
• Providing nursing care including wound and palliative care
• Liaising with healthcare professionals to coordinate personalised care
• Supporting daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and toileting
• Providing emotional support to patients and families
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with CQC standards
• Participating in induction and ongoing staff training
