Job summary

Shaw Healthcare seeks a Residential Team Leader for Warmere Court in Yapton. The role supports dementia, residential and respite care, leading a team to deliver person-centred care across 40 places. Night shifts and a 36-hour week form part of a 4-week rota.

The candidate will oversee medication administration, care plan updates, and effective communication with residents and families. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
• Flexibility, patience and strong people skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation
