Job summary

Imperial London Hotel Group based at President Hotel in Bloomsbury, London, is seeking a Night Manager to lead operations during the night shift and deputise for the Front Office Manager. The role offers a 44-hour week (4 nights on, 4 nights off) with a salary of £36,233.00 GBP plus benefits, plus opportunities to advance through the ILH Training Academy and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous operational experience as a Night Manager or an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager/Duty Manager.
• Passion for hospitality – you are all about creating memorable experiences for others no matter what time of day.
• Excellent organisation skills with ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Natural leader with strong communication skills and ability to get the best out of the team.
• Positive can-do attitude, calm under pressure, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous knowledge of Opera is desirable.

• Conduct regular team meetings with Supervisors and Staff Members to discuss operational focus areas including security, service quality, KPIs and action plans.
• Take overall responsibility for emergency procedures during the night shift, including safe evacuation in emergencies.

We are now recruiting for a Night Manager based at our President Hotel

Based in Bloomsbury, you'll be in the heart of London, with 523 rooms the President Hotel is a special place to be, offering an on-site restaurant bar and resident theatre show, The Faulty Towers Dining Experience.

Putting our guests at the heart of everything you do, you make it your mission to ensure that you and your team deliver an exceptional guest journey from check in to check out. Deputising for the Front Office Manager you will be a role model for the team, leading by example to create a memorable guest experience for each guest, and address any shortfalls in service quality and operating standards.

Key Duties

• Oversee and direct all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• Conduct regular team meetings with Supervisors and Staff Members to discuss agreed areas of operational focus including security, service quality, KPIs, targets, guest feedback and manage matters arising from meetings, including action plans.
• Overall responsibility for the emergency procedures during the night shift, including, but not limited to the safe evacuation in cases of emergency.
